1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
Personal information you disclose to us. We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you register on the Services, express an interest in our products and Services, participate in activities on the Services, or contact us.
The personal information we collect may include: names, phone numbers, email addresses, job titles, usernames, contact preferences, and mailing addresses.
Sensitive Information. We do not process sensitive information.

Social Media Login Data. We may offer you the option to register using your existing social media account (such as Facebook or X). If you choose to do this, we will collect certain profile information from the social media provider — see Section 6 for more details.
All personal information you provide must be true, complete, and accurate. Please notify us of any changes.
Information collected from other sourcesTo enhance our ability to provide relevant marketing and services, we may obtain information about you from public databases, joint marketing partners, affiliate programmes, data providers, and social media platforms. This may include mailing addresses, job titles, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, and social media profiles, for purposes of targeted advertising and event promotion.
If you interact with us via a social media platform, we may receive personal information such as your name, email address, and gender. You may withdraw your consent to this at any time (see Section 11). Please note that the social media platform's own use of your information is governed by their privacy policy, not ours.

2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?
We process your personal information for the following purposes:
To facilitate our recruitment activities, such as by:
  • handling inquiries and applications for the roles;
  • communicating with candidates for the roles;
  • evaluating data about candidates against the requirements set out to a specific role to select the appropriate candidates;
  • sending offers to the selected candidates;
  • organizing further cooperation with selected candidates (for instance, delivery of relevant contracts);
  • keeping a register of candidates for the roles that potentially may be available in the foreseeable future;
  • contacting candidates for future opportunities that may be interesting to them;
  • To send marketing and promotional communications, in accordance with your preferences — you may opt out at any time (see Section 11)
  • To protect an individual's vital interest, such as to prevent harm
  • Emergency contact — family contact for overseas workers

3. WHAT LEGAL BASES DO WE RELY ON TO PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?
We only process your personal information when we have a valid legal reason to do so under applicable law. Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:
  • Consent. We may process your information if you have given us permission for a specific purpose. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Performance of a Contract. We may process your information when necessary to fulfil our contractual obligations to you, or at your request prior to entering into a contract.
  • Legitimate Interests. We may process your information when reasonably necessary to achieve our legitimate business interests, provided those interests do not outweigh your rights. For example, to send information about special offers and discounts, to understand how users use our services, or to facilitate communication with workers' home countries.
  • Legal Obligations. We may process your information where necessary to comply with our legal obligations, such as cooperating with law enforcement or regulatory agencies, or to exercise our legal rights.
  • Vital Interests. We may process your information where necessary to protect your vital interests or those of a third party.

4. WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We may share your personal information in the following situations:
Employers
  • Employers - Advertise job offers and candidates apply by submitting a CV and providing their personal information and references as part of the application.
  • You undergo a candidate selection process (for instance, have an interview, pass assessment tasks, etc.) for the available roles;
  • Job Offers - the selected candidates receive the job offers, contracts, job descriptions and the finalised signed versions are transferred to the employer.
Business Partners
  • We may share your information with third party Recruitment Agencies to offer candidates job opportunities in line with your applications and skills. This will only be done with your prior permission and awareness. We also may receive your information via this route.
  • Interskills Offices in Countries where a suitable opportunity is available
Third Parties
Government Agencies in line with visa requirements and other legal aspects e.g. tax purposes.
Airlines in line with booking transportation for transport to candidates new jobs overseas.

5. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?
We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as web beacons and pixels) to gather information when you interact with our Services. These help us maintain security, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save your preferences, and support basic site functions.
We also permit third parties and service providers to use tracking technologies on our Services for analytics and advertising purposes, including to display tailored advertisements.

6. HOW DO WE HANDLE YOUR SOCIAL LOGINS?
If you choose to register or log in using a third-party social media account (such as Facebook or X), we will receive certain profile information from that provider. This typically includes your name, email address, friends list, and profile picture, as well as any other information you have made public on that platform.
We will use this information only for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice. We are not responsible for how your third-party social media provider uses your personal information — we recommend reviewing their privacy policy directly.

7. IS YOUR INFORMATION TRANSFERRED INTERNATIONALLY?
Our servers are located in the European Union. Your information may also be transferred to and processed in Australia and other countries in connection with third-party service providers.
If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, please be aware that these other countries may not have equivalent data protection laws. However, we will take all necessary measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Notice and applicable law.
We use the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers of personal information. These clauses require all recipients to protect personal information originating from the EEA or UK in accordance with European data protection law. Our Standard Contractual Clauses can be provided upon request.

8.How Long Do We Keep Your Personal Information
We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law (for example, for tax or accounting purposes). In general, we do not retain personal information longer than the period during which you hold an account with us.
To determine the appropriate retention period for your personal data please see below -
Candidates who have secured a job in the UK we will keep the personal data for the validity of your work visa. We do this as we act as a point of contact for emergencies with your employer and offer this service for candidates, free of charge.
Candidates who move for a job outside the UK we keep your data for a period of one year.
Candidates who have applied for positions but been unsuccessful we will keep your data for a period of 2 years. We will keep you updated on opportunities and seek your authorisation prior to submitting your details to any prospective employer.
When we no longer have a legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise it. If deletion is not immediately possible (for example, because data is held in backup archives), we will securely isolate it from further processing until deletion can take place.

9. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?
We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or data storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we do our best to protect your information, transmission to and from our Services is at your own risk. Please ensure you access our Services within a secure environment.

10. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?
We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to anyone under 21 years of age. By using our Services, you confirm that you are at least 21.
If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a person under 21, we will deactivate the account and take steps to delete such data promptly. If you are aware of any such data, please contact us at ian@interskillsgroup.co.uk.

11. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?
If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the following rights under applicable data protection law:
  • The right to access and obtain a copy of your personal information
  • The right to request rectification or erasure
  • The right to restrict processing of your personal information
  • The right to data portability
  • The right not to be subject to automated decision-making
  • The right to object to the processing of your personal information

If you believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). In Switzerland, you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
Withdrawing your consent. If we are processing your information based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us (see Section 15). Please note that withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place prior to withdrawal.
Opting out of marketing. You may unsubscribe from our marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly. You will be removed from our marketing lists, though we may still send you necessary service-related communications.
Account InformationTo review or update your account information, or to request account termination, please contact us using the details provided in this notice. Upon a request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. We may retain certain information where required to prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, or assist with investigations.

12. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature that signals your preference not to have your browsing activity monitored. As no uniform technical standard for recognising DNT signals has been finalised, we do not currently respond to DNT signals. If a standard is adopted that we are required to follow, we will update this Privacy Notice accordingly.

13. DO OTHER REGIONS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?
Australia
We collect and process your personal information in accordance with Australia's Privacy Act 1988. This Privacy Notice satisfies the notice requirements under the Privacy Act, covering what information we collect, from which sources, for which purposes, and with whom it may be shared.
If you choose not to provide personal information where it is required, this may affect our ability to offer you our services, respond to your requests, manage your account, or verify your identity.
You have the right to request access to or correction of your personal information at any time. To do so, please contact us as described in Section 16.
If you believe we are in breach of the Australian Privacy Principles, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
14. DO WE MAKE UPDATES TO THIS NOTICE?
Yes. We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to stay compliant with relevant laws. The updated version will be indicated by a revised date at the top of this notice. If we make material changes, we may notify you by posting a prominent notice or by contacting you directly. We encourage you to review this notice periodically.
