Frequently asked questions
Yes. The ban applies to recruiting new care workers from overseas. Displaced workers are already in the UK. Issuing them a new Certificate of Sponsorship as a change of employer is entirely legal and unaffected by the July 2025 changes.
We typically present matched candidate profiles within 5–7 working days. Once you select a candidate and issue a Certificate of Sponsorship, the worker can usually start within 2–4 weeks — significantly faster than any overseas recruitment route.
Yes. To issue a Certificate of Sponsorship to a displaced worker, your care home must hold a valid sponsor licence. You can check your licence status on the gov.uk register. If you do not currently hold a licence, we can refer you to specialist immigration solicitors who can assist with the application.
We verify right to work documentation, visa status and expiry, DBS certificate, UK care experience, and references from their previous employer. You receive a profile pack for each candidate before interview.
We offer a replacement guarantee period. If a placed worker leaves within an agreed timeframe, we will find a replacement at no additional cost. Terms are confirmed in your client agreement.
Our current pool includes workers from the Philippines, Zimbabwe, India, Nigeria, and other countries. All are legally present in the UK with valid visas regardless of country of origin.
We work across England and Scotland currently. Scotland is a particular focus given the acute staffing crisis there and strong political support for retaining experienced international care workers already in the country.
